My favorite part of the film is the moment when Rose let Jack die in the middle of the ocean. I’ve chosen this moment of the film because, aside from the fact that I cried, I found that scene very dramatic and, being serious, they both fit in that piece of wood. I think that Rose was very brave to let him go in the ocean, even though she loved him so much. Also, I found it very gentlemanly that Jack let his place to her so she would have a better chance of surviving the cold.
SYNOPSIS:
Titanic is an American film produced and directed by James Cameron in 1997 about the sinking of the ship RMS Titanic. The main characters are Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet as Jack Dawson and Rose DeWitt Bukater, members of different social classes who fall in love during the ship's maiden voyage in 1912.
Jack is a young artist who wins in a game of cards a passage to America on the maiden voyage of the Titanic, the largest ocean liner ever built. On board he meets Rose DeWitt Bukater, a young woman from a good family who is engaged to Cal, a millionaire who seeks to gain fame from Rose's family. On the night of April 14, 1912, the Titanic collided with a large iceberg, endangering the lives of more than 2,200 passengers, including Jack and Rose.
